ZBF 2026 Postponed: Zaveri Bazaar Welfare Association Defers Jewellery Festival Amid Industry Slowdown

ZBF 2026: Citing the ongoing challenges facing by the gold and jewellery industry, The Zaveri Bazaar Welfare Association (ZBWA) has announced the postponement of the Zaveri Bazaar Gems & Jewellery Festival (ZBF 2026). According to an official update shared with the jewellery fraternity, the decision was taken after a committee meeting chaired by the association’s leadership, where current market conditions and future industry prospects were extensively reviewed.

Discussions with directors and key stakeholders indicated that the present slowdown is unlikely to be short-lived, prompting the association to reconsider hosting the event next year.

Decision Taken in the Interest of the Industry

In its statement, the association emphasized that organizing a large-scale festival or exhibition under the current circumstances would not be appropriate. Rather than adding further pressure on businesses already navigating difficult conditions, ZBWA has chosen to adopt a cautious approach.

The association reiterated its commitment to supporting jewellers and industry participants during this period while monitoring market developments closely.

Update from Zaveri Bazaar Welfare Association

Our Chairman recently conducted a ZBWA Committee Meeting to review the current industry scenario. After deep discussions with all our Directors and key industry stakeholders, it’s clear this is not a temporary phase — the challenges are likely to continue for longer.

In light of this, ZBWA has decided to postpone ZBF2026.

We believe it’s not right to organize a festival or exhibition when the Hon’ble PM of India himself has appealed not to buy gold.

ZBWA to Continue Supporting the Jewellery Community

While ZBF 2026 has been postponed, the association assured members that it will continue engaging with stakeholders and working towards the long-term interests of the jewellery trade.

For the time being, ZBWA said it will “wait, watch, and continue supporting the industry” until market conditions show signs of meaningful improvement.
