Manoj Jain, Director of Commodity and Currency in Prithvi Finmart gold and silver struggles on Wednesday amid fears of further interest rates hike from the U.S. Fed in its upcoming policy meetings. The U.S. ADP non-farm employment data released on Wednesday was also better than expected as 2,42,000 new jobs were created against expectations of 1,97,000 and well above from the previous data of 1,06,000 jobs. Jain expect gold could face steep resistance at higher levels but silver is in a highly oversold zone and some short coverings are possible at lower levels. Gold has support at $1804-1788, while resistance at $1834-1845 per troy ounce. Silver has support at $20.00-19.66, while resistance is at $20.44-20.70 per troy ounce.
