Bollywood Stars Add Glamour to IIJA 2026

The evening began with the red carpet at 6 PM, setting the stage for a celebration that combined the atmosphere of a film premiere with the heritage of India’s jewellery trade.
Ameesha Patel opened the awards on stage, followed by Celina Jaitly, former Miss India Sangeeta Bijlani and screen legend Meenakshi Seshadri. Arbaaz Khan took charge of the final two Shades and presented some of the night’s major honours, including the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Jewellery and fashion also took centre stage through three couture sequences — The Golden Beginning, India Shines and The Future Shines — which were presented between the award segments.
IIJA 2026 Unveils Its Golden Touch and Anthem

One of the evening’s key moments was The Golden Touch, featuring Mr Jignesh Shah, Founder, India Gold Metaverse; Mr Prithviraj Kothari, National President, IBJA; and Mr Kailash Singh, Managing Director, Tefla’s.
Together, they launched IIJA 2026 and unveiled the official IIJA Anthem, “Aaj Hamari Baari Hai”, across a full-stage LED canvas.
Brand guru Harish Bijoor delivered a keynote focused on the golden power of Brand India, while the Harmony Heaven Choir Band added to the evening’s entertainment and carried the celebration through to the dance floor.
54 Categories and Nearly 180 Nominations
The inaugural IIJA recognised winners across 54 categories from nearly 180 nominations, covering several segments of India’s jewellery ecosystem.
Among the major honours, Titan Company Limited received Manufacturer of the Year, while Kalyan Jewellers was recognised as National Jewellery Retailer of the Year. Malabar Gold & Diamonds received the Global Indian Jewellery Icon honour, while Senco Gold was named Jewellery Brand of the Year.
Indriya (Aditya Birla Jewellery) received the Jewellery Company of the Year award. Chandukaka Saraf was recognised with the Heritage Legacy Award, while Swarnshilp Chains & Jewellers received the Hall of Fame honour.
The evening’s final and most emotional recognition went to Emerald Jewel Industry India, which received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
IIJA Introduces Nominee Felicitation and AI Photo Scan
The celebration also extended beyond the award winners. In a first for an Indian jewellery awards show, every nominee was felicitated at a dedicated photo booth outside the ballroom.
An AI Photo Scan facility also allowed guests to download photographs captured during the event.
The evening concluded with all five Bollywood celebrities being felicitated on stage, followed by a grand photograph titled ‘The Stars Behind the Shine’. The networking dinner and dance floor then brought the inaugural celebration to its close.
