Other gold purities also remained under heavy pressure, reflecting broad-based weakness in precious metals. Silver prices saw an even sharper correction, plunging by Rs 32,100 from Rs 2,33,600 to Rs 2,01,500. Platinum too registered a notable fall of Rs 8,584, slipping from Rs 65,392 to Rs 56,808.
