Gold Price Today: Precious metals began Friday’s trading session on a stronger note, supported by ongoing geopolitical uncertainties. On the MCX, gold April futures edged up 0.20% to ₹1,55,110 per 10 grams at the opening bell, while silver March contracts climbed 0.65% to ₹2,42,974 per kilogram in early trade.
Globally, Comex gold April futures surged by $31.4 per troy ounce to $5,040 at the open, building on gains from the previous session. Meanwhile, Comex silver contracts for March delivery also advanced, rising $1.8 per troy ounce to $79.40 and maintaining their recent upward trajectory.
