India’s oldest jewellery association, India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), has honoured ‘Gold Price Today’ and ‘Gold Silver News’ with the ‘Best Digital Media House of the Year’ award for their outstanding contribution to the jewellery sector. IBJA, with a legacy of 106 years, is one of the largest and most prestigious jewellery associations in India.
The award was presented during the India International Bullion Summit (IIBS) in Mumbai, a grand event attended by top industry leaders. IBJA President Prithviraj Kothari and Haresh Acharya, Director of Parker Precious Metals, presented the award to Gold Price Today. Recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the jewellery industry, the IIBS Awards honoured excellence across 24 categories, with winners including IIBX, MCX, Metals Focus, CNBC TV18, Zee Business, Amrapali Group, and Augmont Group.
More than 800 industry professionals, including bullion and jewellery experts and regulators, participated in the IIBS event. The summit was inaugurated by GIFT City Chairman Hasmukh Adhia and attended by David Tait, Global CEO of the World Gold Council, Pradeep Ramakrishnan (ED, IFSCA), IBJA President Prithviraj Kothari, MCX Bullion Head Shivanshu Mehta, AIGJC Chairman Rajesh Rokade, MMTC PAMP CFO & CTO Samit Guha, World Gold Council India CEO Sachin Jain, and IBJA National Secretary CA Surendra Mehta.
