On Friday, gold and silver were settled on a weaker note in the international markets. Gold April futures contract were settled at $1,818.00 per troy ounce, down by 0.48% and silver March futures contract were settled at $20.75 per troy ounce, down by 2.62%. Domestic markets were also settled on a weaker note. Gold April futures contract settled at Rs55,432 per 10 grams with a loss of 0.28% and silver May futures contract settled at Rs64,532 per kilogram with a loss of 1.82%.

According to Sona Chandi Vyapaar Sangh, Meerut, the rate of gold was Rs 56950 and silver price is Rs 65,900 per kg. According to Badaun Sarfa Committee, gold price is Rs 57650/10 gram and silver price is Rs 65,900 per kg.
