Gold Price Today 17 Feb 2026, Tuesday: On the MCX, bullion prices remained under pressure through the evening session. Gold futures at 6:00 pm were trading at ₹1,53,498 per 10 grams, down ₹1,262 or 0.82%. Silver witnessed sharper weakness, falling ₹5,391 or 2.25% to ₹2,34,500 per kg.
On the COMEX, precious metals also traded in negative territory. Gold was last seen at $4,956.90, down $89.40 or 1.77%, reflecting cautious global sentiment. Silver declined more sharply, slipping $3.084 or 3.96% to $74.880. The sharper percentage drop in COMEX silver compared to gold highlights stronger selling pressure in industrial-linked metals amid global market volatility.

According to the IIBJA rates, the gold price opened with a decline of ₹2903, Silver declined by ₹6567, and platinum showed a decline of ₹2842 this morning, when compared to last evening’s closing prices.
